Glass

 We opted for 1/2" tempered glass for the railing of the loft so that as much light permeates as possible. Firstly we had to build the end bookcase.

Great price and service from Western Glass in Bozeman.

The largest panel weighs 180 lbs so we had fun lugging it all in and up the stairs.

Then, thanks to some timely assistance from Richard Lees, we got it all into the stainless talons with (almost) no damage.
