We have been totally consumed with finish details and the blog has relegated. So here's some updates.
The stairs were completed in April. Extremely time consumingas each staircase has two winders (more thrills from an Octagon House!) and each is different.
The basic structure is 42mm treads and risers of spruce with 19 mm larch covering on the treads for better wear resistance as it is significantly harder.
