Sailing friends David and Suzi Sobolewski planned to come for a few days but van trouble had them spending a few weeks. David has big skills in house building so we set him to work.
We put in two bathroom sinks, started the conversation pit seating and disguised a window as a bookshelf for the sake of the building inspector - long story.
