For the walls we planned 200mm of wood fiber insulation provided by Wooden Haus and sourced from Steico in Germany. 140mm of flexible set within the KVH then 60mm of Uni Dry rigid over the top.
Outside this a breathable monolithic membrane - Rothoblaas Traspir EVO UV 210 for waterproofing and further airtightness. All the gaps and seams taped with Rothoblaas Front Band UV 210.
We did come up a little short on the ordered amounts of tapes and membranes so added from 475 High Performance Building Supply their equivalents - Solitex Fronta Quattro membrane and Tescon Invis tape.
A point on both these membranes is that they are 6 month rated for UV so we have to get a move on with deciding on what siding we can afford.
Cutting the wood fiber to shape and installing it was a very time consuming process which was completed by the end of August.
For now, all that remains to be insulated is the deck and the inside of the garage.
