RJ finishes most of the rough in plumbing

It has been a challenge to find the simplest way to route the plumbing - this partly a function of the CLT construction and design - no floor or ceiling spaces to work with, and partly the octagonal shape of the building.
The compromise solution has been to use the ceiling of the garage for most of the drains.
The main level and upper level heating pipe runs all emanate from the lower floor central machine room, up into the void behind the sunken seating area and then radiate out.

The lower level machine room. Here will be the buffer tank for the heat pump and a manifold to control the hydronics.

Upwards into the sunken seating area. Red pipes are hydronic heating, small white is domestic water and large white is drain. The supply and return for the outdoor heat pump is in the routed channel in the floor.
